In their second conference game of the season, the Cyclones slowly came back for the 74-58 victory over the visiting Oakton College Owls.

This wasn't a guaranteed win for the Cyclones, but they were able to prevail with a second half surge over Oakton. Using the entire bench in the first 20 minutes, the Cyclones trailed in a low-scoring 28-30 half. The Cyclones regained consistency in the second half with some back-and-forth leads before going on a few scoring runs to solidify the win.
