It's been a rough few days for the Cyclones as they dropped their latest matchup to Waubonsee Community College.
The Cyclones were stunted by the Chiefs' defense, particularly in the second half of the 87-71 loss. The teams challenged each other in the first half with the Cyclones only trailing by two at halftime. The second half, however, saw a different level of pressure that became too much for the Cyclones as they struggled to score and stop the Chiefs from outscoring them 50-to-36.
Josh Lawson led the effort with 19 points, eight rebounds and eight assists. Ali Oralkan contributed 18 points, seven rebounds and three blocks. Reggie Strong had 11 points while Grantas Sakenis added 10.
