The Cyclones put in some good rounds of golf placing fifth out of 11 teams, including four-year universities, at the University of St. Francis Fall Classic.
On a perfect weather day, the Cyclones found their stride and played the way Head Coach Matt Lovelace knows they are capable of, finishing well among eight four-year universities and two other community colleges.
Playing one of his best rounds of golf, Matt Pawyza led the team with a 73, placing him eighth among the 57 participants. Coming right behind him was Joey Charleston and Rory Moran, who each had 76, tying for 18th place overall. Anderson Miz finished with 82. Although his driver broke mid-round, Dominick Rallo was able to shoot an 85.
