The Cyclones broke even in their four games in Ottawa over the weekend, putting up some big offensive numbers.

GAME ONE- APRIL 11
Despite outhitting Milwaukee Area Technical College 16-to-13, the Cyclones were edged out 11-10.

Brooklynn Sedlak (3-for-4, 3 RBIs) had quite a game, collecting three hits in four at-bats, and was a triple short of batting for the cycle. The Stormers opened the scoring in the third inning to put up a 2-0 lead. Moraine Valley battled back to get ahead in the fourth after Keira Clancy (3-for-4, RBI) hit an RBI double, Megan Hackett (2-for-4, RBI) scored a run on a single and Abbie Trendle grounded into a fielder's choice that scored another run.

The Stormers came right back with a big five-run inning before the Cyclones added more runs of their own off an RBI single from Jill Zodrow (2-for-5, RBI) and two-run homerun from Sedlak. Annabelle Rush (3-for-4, 3 RBIs) crushed a homerun to centerfield to score three more runs, but it wasn't enough to surpass the Stormers.

GAME TWO
Hackett (3-for-4, 4 RBIs) was a beast at the plate in the Cyclones' matchup with Carl Sandburg College as she drove in four runs on three hits to help her team win 14-3.

The Cyclones scored first thanks to a fielding error before the Chargers had a string of singles in the second inning to take a 2-1 lead. Sedlak (1-for-5, 2 RBIs) tied the game in her next at-bat with a homerun to centerfield. The Chargers countered with a homerun before Hackett hit a two-run bomb to retake the lead. After that, they stunted the Chargers and ran the score up with an eight-run seventh inning including RBI singles from Rush (2-for-4, RBI), Hackett, Londynn Sedlak (3-for-5 2 RBIs) and a double from Zodrow (2-for-5, RBI). Haley Tracy (1-for-5, 2 RBIs) added the icing on the cake with a two-run homerun that inning.

Tracy also earned the win on the mound, allowing 11 hits and three runs, walking none and striking out three.

GAME THREE- April 12
The Cyclones held off Sauk Valley Community College to start the day for the 5-4 victory.

Moraine Valley got on board in the bottom of the second after Rush (2-for-3, 2 RBIs) singled down the rightfield line, Zodrow laid down a sac bunt and Londynn Sedlak (2-for-3, RBI) singled, to each score a run. They added to their early lead in the next at-bat after Hackett (2-for-3, RBI) singled down the leftfield line and Rush doubled to centerfield for two more runs.

Although the Skyhawks tacked on three runs in the fourth inning, it wasn't enough to surpass the Cyclones' lead. Kasey Jackson earned the victory, allowing seven hits and four runs, walking none and striking out one.

GAME FOUR
In a last-minute rescheduling, the Cyclones faced the always tough Rock Valley College, a team they saw just a week prior. It's always a challenge to keep up with the Golden Eagles as Moraine Valley fell 5-0.

Both teams collected four hits apiece but some fielding errors from the Cyclones and well-placed hits from the Golden Eagles made it a challenge. Londynn Sedlak singled in the first and third innings, Trendle singled in the fourth and doubled in the sixth inning.
