The Moraine Valley softball team gathers together for a hands-in.

The Cyclones spent their Sunday at Triton College for a tri-game series where they earned one win.

GAME ONE
Moraine Valley was stymied by Black Hawk College in the 11-3 loss.

The Braves jumped to an early lead after a big first inning while the Cyclones didn't get on the board until the fifth inning when, with two outs and the bases loaded, Brooklynn Sedlak batted in two runs on a fielder's choice. Estelle Loth (1-for-3, RBI) knocked the other run in on her at-bat with a hard single to right field.

Brooklyn Sedlak (2-for-5, 2 RBIs) started the scoring with a double followed by an RBI ground out from Loth (2-for-3, 4 RBIs) and RBI line out from Megan Hackett (1-for-4, RBI). Five more runs crossed the plate in their next at-bat to go up 8-0 with a big three-run home run from Loth.
