Cyclones dominate at Dig Pink Classic with back-to-back wins

At the Dig Pink Classic hosted at South Suburban College, the Cyclones swept both opponents.

The Cyclones first made quick work of Malcolm X College, winning in three easy sets: 25-13, 25-12, 25-12. Amber Kingston collected 11 kills and 10 digs while Amanda Pocica had 12 digs and Chloe McGregor-Paterson had 11. Cameron Szyszka amassed 25 assists and 11 digs.

Moraine Valley had a more formidable opponent in Black Hawk College for the next game and was able to hang on to the win after four sets: 25-17, 22-25, 25-19, 25-20. Szyszka had a solid match with 38 assists and 21 digs. McGregor-Paterson earned 17 kills and 11 digs while Kingston had 14 kills and 11 digs. Pocica added 23 digs, and Tegan Colyer collected 13 digs in the effort.
