The win streak continued as the Cyclones took down their latest opponent – College of DuPage – in a tight 84-83 victory.

This wasn't the best-played game by the Cyclones despite some moments of domination. Moraine Valley started with a 24-8 lead until the Chaparrals cut it with a 9-4 run of their own. A 25-point surge from DuPage in the second quarter cut the Cyclones lead to two by halftime.

Charging back into the third quarter, the Cyclones flirted with a double-digit lead, but the Chaparrals would not back down. With the Cyclones holding only a one-point lead, Shakila Brownlow banked in a running 15-foot shot with 45 seconds on the clock before the Chaparrals scored to come within one just before the buzzer expired.

Jadea Johnson led the offense with 15 points and added 14 rebounds. Brownlow also posted a double-double with 15 points and 14 rebounds. Mikayla Summey scored 10 and collected four blocks. In her season debut, Trajany Walker added 10 points and five rebounds.
