Jadea Johnson scored her 1,000th career point as she helped elevate the Cyclones past McHenry County College in an 84-61 victory on the road.

The Cyclones jumped to an early 8-0 lead and dominated three of the four quarters, even holding the Scots to nine points in the final 10 minutes. Within the first quarter, Johnson scored her 1,000th points in another offensive surge. By halftime, the Cyclones were up 49-23 and continued to lead despite a 29-point third quarter from the Scots.

Johnson finished with 27 points and now has a career 1,022 points with several games left in the season. She also grabbed six rebounds and three steals. Shakila Brownlow contributed 23 points and led with seven rebounds. Mikayla Summey added 10 points.
