The win streak continues
The Cyclones had another slow start in their latest conference matchup but still found the way to a 77-64 victory over rival Waubonsee Community College.

Within the first quarter, the Chiefs went toe-to-toe with the Cyclones, even taking a 12-6 lead. The Cyclones didn't get on the board until the 5:40 mark thanks to a Shakila Brownlow offensive rebound and putback. She also helped get her team its first lead at 14-12.

In the second quarter, the Cyclones went on a 15-0 run to help them extend the lead, getting ahead by as much as 20 points in the third quarter, and their largest point tally with 27. Although the Chiefs outscored the Cyclones in the fourth quarter, it wasn't enough to best the Cyclones, who remain undefeated in conference.

Brownlow led in scoring with 25 points and grabbed nine rebounds. Jadea Johnson added 14 points, six rebounds and five assists. Trajany Walker contributed another double-double with 12 rebounds and 10 points.
