Cyclones take a hit at Lake County

Cyclones take a hit at Lake County
The Cyclones' 21-game win streak was halted on the road by the College of Lake County Lancers.

Some overconfidence played into the Cyclones' loss as they started the game with a seven-point lead which was cut to two at halftime. The Cyclones' offense was stunted in the fourth quarter as they went down by as much as 12 points but attempted to battle back. However, it wasn't enough to surpass the Lancers at the buzzer, resulting in a rare 82-74 loss.

Laila Houseworth was the big scorer of the night with 29 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Jadea Johnson collected 13 points and six rebounds while Shakila Brownlow had 10 points and six assists. Under the basket, Trajany Walker grabbed 11 rebounds.
